The Sudanese Coptic Association was founded by
the  Sudanese community in Brighton late 1992 to act on behalf, represent and help the community. The SCA helped in founding and represented the Sudanese community in the Refugee Forum, Sussex Interpreting Services, Racial Harassment Forum, Black and minority ethnic community partnership (BMECP) representative council and others.

 The SCA also help with advocacy and representing the community in health, housing, social services,
Home-Office, schools and elsewhere
